💪 Building Our Future Through Training and Recruitment! 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

From school job fairs to orientations and PCT (Pre-Construction Training), Northwest Laborers Training has been unstoppable in its outreach and recruitment efforts!

With the new Northwest Laborers Training Center in Pasco, classes have been filling up, creating exciting opportunities for both new and existing members!

Having this training center right here in Pasco has been instrumental for Laborers Local 348, giving our members access to continuing education, skill development, and opportunities to advance their careers without having to travel far from home.

Local 348 has proudly endorsed John Duresky for Washington’s 4th Congressional District!

We need a representative in Washington, D.C., who will continue fighting for Hanford cleanup funding, good-paying jobs, and the hardworking men and women who depend on this critical work.

Our voices matter, our jobs matter, and the future of Hanford matters!

💪🔥 TWBN 2026 – Houston, Texas! 🔥💪

As TWBN 2026 comes to an end, over 6,000 tradeswomen and tradesmen came together in Houston, Texas, standing strong in solidarity!

From powerful speakers to inspiring workshops, we gained knowledge, strength, motivation, and tools to take back to our unions, workplaces, and communities.

Each year, we continue to grow stronger as more tradeswomen and tradesmen come together, united by a shared purpose: to lift each other up, break down barriers, and pave the way for the next generation!

The energy, unity, and solidarity felt this weekend remind us that when we stand together, there is nothing we cannot accomplish!

We came together to learn, to empower, and to inspire. Now it’s time to take that power home and put it into action!

Today, we had the opportunity to participate in Construction Career Day at the Benton-Franklin Fairgrounds!

This event brought students from schools across Benton and Franklin Counties together for a hands-on opportunity to explore careers in construction and the skilled trades. Students got to operate heavy equipment, learn about different trades, and experience firsthand the skills that tradespeople use every day.

A huge thank-you to all of the volunteers who showed up and helped make this event possible. Investing in the next generation and giving students the opportunity to see what a career in the trades can look like is incredibly important.

We’re proud to be part of an event that helps introduce young people to the opportunities available in the construction industry!

We had a successful day at the Northwest Laborers Training Center with 90 young men and women from Job Corps! They had the opportunity to see firsthand the skills and training Laborers bring to the job site.

It was awesome watching them learn, get hands-on, and try new things. A huge thank-you to everyone who volunteered their time and helped make this event a success!

Local 348, another strong week in the books.

Take a moment to be proud of the work you’ve put in this week. Every job we complete, every challenge we overcome, and every skill we pass on helps strengthen our union and our trade.

Remember, we’re not just building for today — we’re building the next generation of skilled tradespeople. Take the time to teach, mentor, and share the knowledge you’ve earned through hard work and experience. That’s how we keep our trade strong and our union moving forward.

Thank you to every member for showing up, putting in the work, and looking out for one another. Solidarity, craftsmanship, and pride in what we do.
