You don’t have to live in rural Mississippi to help someone build a future there.

Support has reached REAL Christian Foundation from at least 39 states. Because of our faithful supporters, REAL has distributed approximately $2.5 million to rural Mississippi communities, including more than $200,000 in scholarships.

Behind those numbers are students pursuing an education and ministries working to serve the neighbors they know by name.

There is more work ahead, and you can be part of it. Help REAL continue supporting rural ministries and opening doors to education. Find the donation link in the comments.

You know what your community needs, but who helps you find what your ministry needs?

You see the possibilities because you know the people. Finding the resources, training, and connections to move forward can be harder.
REAL Christian Foundation helps rural Christian ministries across Mississippi connect with opportunities that may have felt out of reach. Sometimes, knowing who to call is what helps you take the next step.

What have you been hoping to do for your community? Let’s talk about what could help. Connect with REAL through the link in the comments.

Think about someone who showed up for you when you needed it. You probably still remember their name.

In rural Mississippi, Christian ministries are showing up for their neighbors. REAL Christian Foundation helps these ministries access resources, training, and support so they can continue serving.

Your donation helps us stand alongside them. Because of our faithful supporters, this work continues.

Help support the ministries people turn to. Donate through the link in the comments.

Before the cross, Jesus prayed for the people entrusted to Him.

In John 17:12, He spoke of how He had watched over His disciples. His prayer reminds us that ministry carries a responsibility to care for people personally.

That care matters in rural Mississippi, where Christian ministries build relationships with the people they serve. REAL Christian Foundation supports these ministries as they continue their work in their communities.

Join us in praying for those who serve and the people entrusted to their care.

Deep in Simpson County, Mississippi, something quiet and powerful is happening.

The Mendenhall Ministries has been at the center of its community for decades. And nestled inside that work is Genesis One Christian School, offering a Christ-centered education to children in a rural county where that option would not otherwise exist.

This is why REAL Christian Foundation does what it does. Rural communities deserve more than survival. They deserve institutions that invest in their children, their leaders, and their future.

In 2026, REAL is proud to walk alongside Mendenhall and the 10 other ministries across Mississippi who are doing the hard, holy work of community transformation.

28 years ago, Dolphus and Rosie Weary believed that rural ministries in Mississippi deserved the same fighting chance as anyone else. That belief became REAL Christian Foundation.

If God is placing it on your heart to be part of what comes next, we would be honored to have you with us.

This is not the update we hoped to share about Dr. Dolphus Weary, but we want to keep our REAL family informed and prayerful.

Dr. Weary is currently at Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital in Madison as he continues his recovery.

He was originally scheduled to go home from Methodist Rehabilitation on September 5, but began feeling weaker in his legs during the midpoint of therapy. He was taken back to UMMC on September 7 for further evaluation and treatment, and has since continued his recovery at Baptist Rehab.

Dr. Weary has given so many years of his life to strengthening rural Christian ministries, encouraging leaders, and serving communities across Mississippi. We are believing God for more years of strength, purpose, and continued impact.

Please continue keeping him lifted in prayer for healing, renewed strength, steady progress, and peace for him and his family.

Thank you for standing with Dr. Weary and the REAL family in prayer.

Twenty-seven years ago, REAL Christian Foundation made a promise to rural Mississippi. The people who showed up financially helped keep it.
This carousel is for every faithful donor, past and present, who decided rural ministry mattered. You did this.

Because of that, 11 ministries are still standing, still serving, and still changing lives in 10 counties across this state.
The work continues. Link in the comments to be part of what comes next. 🙏
