Tri-Cities Chaplaincy provides compassionate hospice, palliative, and grief care, helping people live their best lives.

Hospice care is available where ever the patient calls home. This may be their own home, a skilled nursing facility, adult family home or assisted living facility. The Hospice House is available for patients whose symptoms need professional management in an inpatient setting. In addition, hospice patients may also come to the hospice house when their caregiver needs rest from the care giving respo

nsibilities. Grief Support groups are available to families who have had a loved one in our hospice program AND the community at large. Visit www.chaplaincyhealthcare.org/grief-care for a list of support groups. Cork's Place is a grief support program designed specifically for children, teens and their families. Allowing children to grieve and process their grief with peers is extremely valuable as they move toward emotional healing. As a caregiver, taking time to rest isn’t a luxury – it’s essential. Respite care is a level of care that is provided by our team at the Hospice House. Primary caregivers need time to rest and recharge and that’s where our Respite Care team can help. Our experts focus on providing short-term, supportive care for your loved one in a safe environment, giving primary caregivers the opportunity to take care of their own well-being and personal needs.

Thank you to the Richland School District for inviting Cork’s Place to be part of the RSD Inclusionary Practices Professional Learning Day! We appreciated the opportunity to raise awareness about childhood grief and share insights on how it shows up in the classroom. It was a privilege to connect with RSD staff and share valuable resources to support our community.

Located inside the hospice house, this space is dedicated to helping families and friends experience a peaceful, meaningful parting from their loved ones. A flowing path along the floor and ceiling gently guides guests past soft lighting and candles to a comfortable seating area where goodbyes can be shared.

The cafe in the hospice house is a great place to catch up with loved ones, grab a bite to eat, or relax and read a book.

Free soup is prepared daily for patients and their families to enjoy. The cafe also provides a snack bar for a quick bite. But if you need some energy, the cafe also has many coffee machines to help on a busy day.

A home away from home

Our patient rooms are comfortable and welcoming spaces for guests and families to take a break. Families are provided with many amenities to make their stay relaxing—televisions, reading material, chess, patios, and more.

We serve three different levels of care at the Hospice House: General Inpatient Care, Respite Care, and Routine Care.
