Last day was a long one, but still another good one! We left the stockyards behind to head home. Our first stop was at Express Ranch. We Toured their Clydesdale facilities along with some of their cattle facilities and the sale area showcasing their awards. It was definitely a different world of farming most of them have not experienced yet.

We then took a little detour to The Pioneer Mercantile where there was a little shopping, exploring and ice cream!

We had a great trip, definitely seen a lot of interesting things. There were tons of laughs, lots of miles and an enormous amount of pineapple juice consumed!! The kids were great and us old people are tired. Thankful for Gods hand in keeping everyone safe.

Another busy day. We were back on the road about 7am. We headed to Texas for a tour of the Nokona leather factory. We received a VIP tour from the Vice President of the company! He did an amazing job explaing the history of the company and how it all began. Along with showing us how they make belts and ball gloves from start to finish. FYI they are the only company that makes their baseball gloves in the US! Also there was a lot of drooling happening by some of the baseball boys. But I’m not going to lie it smelled so good in there.

From there we headed to Fort Worth Stockyards. We were able to catch the longhorn parade, tour some history and do a little ( maybe a lot for some ) shopping. Then had a good meal at Riskys Steakhouse. And all the kids tried calf fries and no one got sick. 😂

Now a few rounds of cards and swimming before we sleep for a bit and start on more adventures tomorrow!

Started the day early. We left about 6:15 this morning and headed to Oklahoma for a tour of the Milo’s factory. Very interesting experience. The kids definitely enjoyed it along with the free tea and lemonade they sent us went.

Next we headed to Oklahoma City for a tour of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. So much to see there. And they found the playground.

Last stop of the day was the famous Oklahoma Stockyards! It started to rain again so we had to skip walking the streets of the exchange. But the kids sure did get to enjoy the smell of money!!

A quick dip in the pool and a few rounds of cards before we head out for more adventures tomorrow!!

Congratulations, Jessie!
