Last weekend, our FRC and FTC teams got invited to visit Bronson's Thoracic Oncology Mobile Experience to experiment with surgical robots and watch a trained professional demonstrate how they worked. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about the use of robotics in different fields and we're so grateful to Bronson for giving us this chance to learn and operate!

This weekend, we're headed to Rainbow Rumble, and we couldn't be more stoked! Last year's competition was a blast, so we're going to do our best to make this year's even better. It doesn't matter if it's an off-season event—our twisted teams have been working hard to make it a great experience for everyone. We're all so excited to be a part of this event!

Over the 4th of July, the Twisted Angels and Twisted Devils volunteered at the Battle Creek Field of Flight parking lot. They persevered through the heat and raised funds for our up-and-coming season while helping others in the meantime. Although some inclement weather proved a challenge, the airshow was still fun for everyone who came!

This season, Gull Lake Area Robotics has been proud to support the Climax-Scotts robotics program! They’ve spent time practicing in our build facility, where mentors and experienced students were able to help guide them throughout the season. Whether it was assisting with programming or cheering them on at competitions, gracious professionalism was at the center of it all. We’re incredibly proud of the hard work and growth they’ve shown, and we’re grateful to be part of their journey. We’re looking forward to continuing this partnership in the future for any STEAM needs and we’re so excited to see them compete at the Michigan State Championship!!

Recently, we the Twisted Angels, Team 4422, organized a food drive to support the Richland Food Pantry through a community food drive and we’re so grateful for everyone who made it possible! With donations collected at the build facility and high school, we helped gather non-perishable items like canned fruits, vegetables, and soups to help restock the pantry after the holiday season. A huge thank you to the high school community and Mr. Gobble for partnering with us and helping make this effort a success! We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up and supports one another.
