FRC Twisted Angels Team 4422 We are the FRC Team 4422, the Twisted Angels from Richland, Michigan. Our members are from Gull Lake High School. FRC stands for FIRST Robotics Competition.

On the Twisted Angels, we teach our students about science, technology, mathematics, computer skills, and other helpful skills for the future. Students also learn to kindness even during fierce competition.

This season, Gull Lake Area Robotics has been proud to support the Climax-Scotts robotics program! They’ve spent time practicing in our build facility, where mentors and experienced students were able to help guide them throughout the season. Whether it was assisting with programming or cheering them on at competitions, gracious professionalism was at the center of it all. We’re incredibly proud of the hard work and growth they’ve shown, and we’re grateful to be part of their journey. We’re looking forward to continuing this partnership in the future for any STEAM needs and we’re so excited to see them compete at the Michigan State Championship!!

Recently, we the Twisted Angels, Team 4422, organized a food drive to support the Richland Food Pantry through a community food drive and we’re so grateful for everyone who made it possible! With donations collected at the build facility and high school, we helped gather non-perishable items like canned fruits, vegetables, and soups to help restock the pantry after the holiday season. A huge thank you to the high school community and Mr. Gobble for partnering with us and helping make this effort a success! We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up and supports one another.

WEEK BEFORE STATES! LET’S ROBOT!
JV is in the final push before the Michigan State Championship—locking in improvements, refining systems, and getting competition-ready.
⚙️ Mechanical: Finished the state's design, troubleshot issues, and handed it off to programming.
➡️ To Do: Make final changes to the hopper and add new rollers to pick up belt slack.
⚡ Electrical: Wired the intake and hopper and updated the wiring diagram.
➡️ To Do: Finish the pit pillar and create a permanent battery mount.
💻 Programming: Tweaked code and worked on the shooter.
➡️ To Do: Continue developing state autos.
📐 CAD: Made fidgets and assembled charms.
➡️ To Do: Work on a button dispenser for states.
📣 Marketing: Posted senior spotlight and completed all sponsorship posts.
➡️ To Do: Clean travel bins and get everything ready for states.

This week, we received a $5000 grant from Post Consumer Brands after presenting to them last week.

Then, at one of our meetings this week, we had to go into a mentor's basement due to the weather, but that didn't stop us from having fun!

⚙️Mechanical: Finished attaching new intake and mounted motors.
➡️ To Do: Finish the new hopper.

⚡ Electrical: rewired the shooter, intake, and conveyors.
➡️ To Do: organize wiring.

💻 Programming: Met with team 9755 Red Devil Robotics - Ironwood over Zoom to assist with programming. Began programming new autos that go over the bump.
➡️ To Do: Finish the new autos and re-tune the shooter.

📐 CAD: Finished updated robot design.
➡️ To Do: Work on a button dispenser for the pits.

📣 Marketing: Took pictures for the weekly post.
➡️ To Do: Make buttons for the state competition.

This week, we presented to Post Consumer Brands and shared what we do with a panel of employees from the Post Grant Committee. Then, we helped set up the field for the Battle Creek Competition this weekend.

⚙️Mechanical: Added motor protectors so the robot could go over the bumps.
➡️ To Do: Working on the intake and hopper for the Michigan State Championship.

⚡ Electrical: Made CAN resistors.
➡️ To Do: Wire the intake and hopper for State.

💻 Programming: Theorized new autos for the state robot design.
➡️ To Do: Meet with Red Devil Robotics to assist with programming.

📐 CAD: Designed new hopper and intake.
➡️ To Do: Finish the new designs

📣 Marketing: Made comp recap video.
➡️ To Do: Make buttons for State.
