Richland Area Rescue A 501c3 Domestic Animal Rescue located in Richland Center, WI, since 1997. We re-home abandoned/stray or surrendered domestic animals.

Most dogs for adoption are strays or surrenders. We hold them for 7 to 10 days to give their owners a chance to claim them. After this time they are put on this site to be adopted. We are open BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!! Richland Area Rescue helps animals in need in the Richland County area of Wisconsin. We are an all volunteer organization. We are funded by donations and adoption fees. We also are responsible for picking up stray or abandoned animals in the area. We have been busy improving our facility in the past 2 years!! This gelding was from last month, wild. He's hard to catch and we used gates to pin him to get a lead rope on. We talked to him slowly and he let us pet him. He hasn't been treated well and not sure on age so posting a pic. He just needs time and love. Anyone want to give him that chance?$300 608-604-8213 License DS211415 501c3

Meet Ava,a lab mix that is 1 1/2 years old. The owners health is failing and Ava just lost her best friend due to old age. She is NOT a hunting dog and would love other bigger dogs to roughhouse with. She's a little too much energy for small dogs. She loves kids and everyone. She will bark a little at first then love you. She is spayed, utd, housebroken. This is a COURTESY post. Please call or text 608-604-8213 if you think you have the right home for her.

These 2 pups are still looking for their forever homes. The mom was a pomeranian/chihuahua and the dad was a yorkie. They've been vet checked, shots, dewormed and great with other dogs. They would love to stay together if possible as the male, smaller one, is a little shy and looks up to his big sister. License number DS211415. Please call or text 608-604-8213

Adopted!!. These are 2 of the 14 pulled from the slaughter pipeline Monday. This young lady, Jolie, went with me for her first horse sale experience. She cried, she laughed and she smiled. She fell in love with this little pony and her mom fell in love with this bay mare. Meet Emily with her horse Liv and Jolie with Snickers.
