Thanks to Josh Elder and the Highway Dept, the rifle range has been cleaned up. They removed 2 large dump trucks of trash, mowed back the brush, reomved several smaller dead trees, straigtened and reset the target posts. They removed minor over growth in the driveway. Thank you!

The Richland County Rifle Range will be closed on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 so it can be cleaned up. It will reopen on Thursday, September 21, 2023

Because of issues again at Viola Park, there will be no camping allowed until the county receives a camping permit from the stae and an Place to collect fees have been set up.

Come out and enjoy the Richland County Parks this weekend. The Pine River Recreation Trail is ready for hikers and bikers thanks to the volunteer work of some wonderful individuals.

Even though we have had some snow, the snowmobile trails are not open.

We have moved! We are now located on the first floor of the Richland County Courthouse. We are co-located now with Zoning. Come and see us. We have new emails and our phone number is 608-647-2100

The rifle range is for target practice only. Please do not shoot clay pigeons or any other objects. It is not allowed! If you want to shoot clay pigeons, there are 2 trap clubs in the area, Muscoda and Viola.
