Deepest Gratitude: 8 Bags of Trash Collected at Today’s Adopt-A-Highway Event!
Vanakkam All,

On behalf of the Minnesota Tamil Sangam (MNTS), we would like to express our profound gratitude to the dedicated volunteers who stepped up for today’s Adopt-A-Highway clean-up initiative.

Out of our *17 total participants, 10 were incredible youth volunteers* who completely stole the show. Despite the steady rain, our volunteers showed unwavering commitment, working tirelessly for "*3.5 hours* without letting the weather dampen their spirits.

Because of this collective resilience, our team successfully cleared our designated stretch of highway, collecting 8 large bags of trash and making a highly visible, positive impact on our local environment.

*A Special Commendation to Our Youth:* To see our children leading this environmental initiative with such high energy and determination—completely unbothered by the rain—was truly inspiring. They proved today that environmental stewardship has no age limit. You are all absolute superstars!

*To Our Parents and Adult Volunteers:* Thank you for your hands-on leadership, for braving the wet conditions alongside the kids, and for consistently teaching the next generation the value of community responsibility and civic pride.

Today was a proud day for MNTS. Thank you for making it an outstanding success despite the elements!

MNTS proudly presented the Majesty of Tamil Traditional Arts at the Asian Fair today, celebrating the vibrant richness of our Tamil folk heritage.

Today’s lineup featured Silambam, Oyilattam, and Karakattam, brought to life with the powerful rhythms of the Parai. These performances were made even more special by the young talents of Minnesota, who have mastered these art forms with remarkable skill and dedication.

This presentation beautifully highlighted how each folk tradition carries its own classical elegance, reminding us that every facet of Tamil culture shines with equal grace and grandeur.

Kudos to all performers who gathered their energy for this wonderful performance 👏👏🙏
