The Fun Fair is right around the corner and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!

We are looking for a LOT more volunteers to make this event a success. Even one parent per family taking one shift would help us out. Grandparents, Aunt, Uncles, and Older Siblings High School and above can get in on the fun.

You don't need to sign up for the whole night—whether it’s running a game, face painting, crazy hair! there’s a spot for everyone!

We can’t do it without all you volunteers!

All volunteers get two unlimited wristbands for their kiddos (per shift!) and all teen volunteers get a treat from the treat trot. 🎟️🍭‼️

Fall Family Movie Night is Friday, Nov 14th. Doors open at 6:00 PM. The movie starts at 6:30 PM. Everyone is welcome to this popular PTO community-building event! Enjoy a night of FUN with other Sheridan Hills families and friends. This is not a drop off event, children must be accompanied by parents and or caregivers.

I’m excited to announce that our school will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair, which will take place from Wed, Nov 5th (3 PM to 7 PM) & Thurs, Nov 6th (7:30 AM to 7 PM) in the lunchroom at Sheridan Hills Elementary School.

For students, it’s one of the most anticipated events of the school year—but we need volunteers to make it happen. We hope that you can offer your time to help students experience Bookjoy firsthand! And every purchase at the Fair directly benefits our school. So, it’s a Win-Win!

Kids can help, too, and all volunteers earn $10 Scholastic Dollars to put towards a Scholastic Book purchase.

First Day of School Bus Tag Helpers
Wednesday, September 3rd | 8:30AM – 11:00AM
Volunteers are needed to color-coordinate bus tags of Pre-K – 2nd grade and New Students. This helps facilitate a smooth transition from classroom to bus loading, creating confidence in kids and a great year ahead. We will meet in the school office - training will be provided.

First Day of School Bus Riders
Wednesday, September 3rd | 2:30PM – 3:30PM

Ensure Kindergarten and New students safely ride and exit bus on the first day with extra adult supervision. Volunteers can ride on their child's route or any route needing supervision. We’d like to have a parent on each of our 9 bus routes, We will meet in the office by 2:30PM. All volunteers must have a ride to school and a ride home from the last bus stop.

Sheridan Hills PTO is Making Music Happen: Our New Instrument!!!!

Out PTO is thrilled to announce the purchase of several new musical instruments for our students! Our PTO is dedicated to enriching the educational experience for all Sheridan Hills students, and the addition of these instruments will significantly enhance our music program.

Thanks to generous support through our PTO fundraising efforts, we were able to acquire ukuleles, xylophones, and mini electronic keyboards. These instruments will benefit all students at our Sheridan Hills Elementary.

Learning a musical instrument provides numerous benefits for children, fostering creativity, discipline, concentration, and social skills. We believe these new instruments will inspire our students to explore their musical talents and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.

We are incredibly grateful for your continued support of our PTO and its efforts to provide enriching experiences for our students. We look forward to seeing the positive impact these new instruments will have on our music program and the lives of our students.
