Before the backpacks are packed and the first-day pictures begin, come meet some of the new friends who will be joining your little one this year! 💛

Join us for our Kindergarten Meet & Greet — a fun, casual evening for kids to play, make new friends, and for grown-ups to connect too!

Happy Summer to everyone! We are so excited about the event below! Hope to see you there!

Come lend a hand at the Urban Wildland Half Marathon and 5k! This event supports our field trips to the Woodlake Nature Center, providing each class with two classroom visits every year!

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with:

• 💧 Handing out water to runners

• ⚡ Providing Gatorade for a boost

• 🧹 Keeping the event area clean

It's a fun opportunity to connect with R-STEM families. And kids are encouraged to join in the fun!

It is time to empty the backpacks and check under the bed. We still have quite a few library books out on loan, and some outstanding fines that need to be settled before the end of the school year.

Here is the current breakdown of outstanding books/fines by grade level:

Kindergarten: 12 books

First Grade: 39 books

Second Grade: 19 books

Third Grade: 29 books

Fourth Grade: 21 books

Fifth Grade: 35 books

Sparktacular is this Friday (4/17) at R-STEM from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.! We’re so excited to welcome our students and their families to this giant fun fest! A few items to note so you can best be prepared for the evening:
-This is a cash only event (with the exception of silent auction items).
-Admission is $3/per person.
-This is NOT a drop-off event. Adult(s) must accompany children.
-Food is available to purchase (see attached menu).
-Sparkledo hair styles: $3
-Face painting: $2
-Raffle buckets: 2 tickets for $1
-Pie throwing booth: $1/per pie.
-All other attractions are FREE!

If when you arrive the parking lot is full, please utilize the back parking lot (next to the playground) or the RDLS front lot.

Sparktacular, R-STEM's annual school carnival, is next Friday and we still DESPERATELY need volunteers. Our greatest need is for assistance in the second time slot from 7:15 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Please sign up today so we can make sure the event is a success!
