Jeff & Michelle LaJeunesse have generously donated $1,000 to the R Project, and we are incredibly grateful for their support! Their family has always been dedicated to making Richfield a better place. Whether it's giving back to the community or cheering on local youth, they are always willing to lend a hand. Jeff has spent countless hours coaching Richfield girls basketball, helping young athletes build confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game. Michelle is equally known for her kindness and support of our community.

Their generosity is helping create something that will stand proudly above Richfield for generations to come. Community projects like this are possible because of families like the LaJeunesses who believe in investing in the place they call home.

Big things have been happening up on Fireman’s Point! 🔥

If you know, you know....this spot is where our local firemen head up each year on the 4th of July to light off the fireworks, while everyone gathers down below to take in the show. It’s one of those all-American traditions that we look forward to year after year.

This year feels especially meaningful as we celebrate the 250th birthday of America 🇺🇸 and the tradition on the hill is only getting better. Our firemen will have extra space up top this year to set off fireworks, thanks to some major improvements made on the hill.

A huge amount of progress has recently been completed thanks to A & D Construction and Justin Jensen, who cleared the land, doubled the size of the pad, and carefully backfilled the area where the concrete foundation was poured and excavated. The space is now fully prepared for what’s next.

A big THANK YOU to them for completing this work and donating around $2,600 worth of labor and equipment to make this happen. Contributions like this don’t just improve the ground, they strengthen the tradition and the community behind it.

Next year, the “R” will be standing there on the hill as the fireworks will light up the sky right behind it. Another layer added to a tradition that just keeps getting better! ❤️💙

Today we're celebrating the incredible Mark, Stacee, Alexis, & Marissa McIff family for their generous $1,000 donation to support the 'R' project! ❤️ Some families collect souvenirs... the McIffs collect opportunities to make their community better. BIG thanks to Richfield Monuments for stepping up as an official 'R' Builder Sponsor with a generous $2,500 donation to the R Project! Talk about a company that knows how to leave a lasting mark! 😄 While they specialize in monuments that stand the test of time, they're helping us build a monument of school pride that will overlook our community for generations.

The 2️⃣nd concrete pour for the ‘R’ is in the books and things are officially leveling up… literally and figuratively. 💙❤️ Massive thanks goes out to the Riverstone Concrete crew and the city workers hauling cement up that hill like it’s a sport. We see you, we appreciate you, and at this point you’ve basically earned local legend status. 🏆

Next up is backfill! That will be done by A & D Jensen Contractors from right here in R town, donating all the labor towards this part of the project. The momentum is real! 💪
