Abdisatar Ahmed Hassan, 23, of Minneapolis, was sentenced April 22, 2026, to 8.5 years in prison and 15 years of supervised release after pleading guilty to attempting to provide material support to ISIS. Hassan had consumed and reposted ISIS propaganda, downloaded weapons and explosives manuals, and publicly called for jihad and a caliphate.
