Bike Rodeo Update:

Due to the weather forecast, Friday’s Bike Rodeo will take place in the gym for ALL classes, using borrowed scooters and bikes.

Students still need to bring a labeled helmet to class, but no longer need to check in a bike or scooter before school.

For those planning to borrow a helmet, disposable shower caps will be provided.

We are going to have a great time learning about bike safety while staying warm and dry from the rain!

Calling all CCE alumni graduating seniors!

CCE PTA has a new former student scholarship program and we are inviting any alumni student who attended CCE for at least 5 years to submit an application!

2 - $1,000 scholarships will be awarded by drawing names from the eligiable applicants during the CCE Senior Breakfast on 5/18.

Submit the google form plus email the necessary documents to [email protected] by 5/11/26 @ 11.59pm.

Next Friday, May 1 BikeDFW, Richardson Bicycle Coalition, and the City of Richardson present: CCE Bike Safety & Rodeo 2026!

All students are encouraged to bring a helmet, and K-6th can bring their own non-motorized bike or scooter. (Tricycles will be provided for Pre-K).

Helmets, bikes, and scooters should be brought to the staff parking lot before school, where volunteers at grade level tables will help label and check-in equipment. We will have some bikes available for borrow.

Volunteers are needed for the check-in tables and to help run kids through the bike course throughout the day. Link for volunteer sign up below (quick link in Highlights)
