Canyon Creek PTA Canyon Creek Elementary PTA is a noncommercial, nonsectarian, nonpartisan association that does not endorse any candidate or political party.

This PTA does not endorse non-PTA products or services. Canyon Creek Elementary is a small neighborhood school located in northwest Richardson that opened in 1965. Canyon Creek is a kindergarten through sixth grade school with two sections of classes in each grade level. The school’s mascot is the cougar and the school colors are royal blue and white.

🐾 PAW THE LAWN IS BACK! 🐾

Celebrate a birthday, big accomplishment, special milestone—or just surprise your favorite Cougar—with a lawn full of CCE BLUE PAWS! 💙

Here’s how it works: our 6th graders will sneak over in the evening and “paw” your yard, leaving a fun display of blue Cougar paws for your child to wake up to the next morning! 🎉🐾

Even better, every Paw the Lawn helps our 6th graders raise money for their special end-of-elementary traditions and celebrations! It’s a fun CCE tradition that gives back to our oldest Cougars. 💙

💙HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, COUGARS!💙

The backpacks are packed, the first-day outfits are on, and a brand-new school year is officially HERE! 🐾✨

We are so excited for another amazing year at Canyon Creek filled with learning, friendships, school spirit, and SO. MUCH. FUN. Our PTA has lots of exciting things in store—from family events and special traditions to opportunities to connect, volunteer, celebrate our teachers, and make memories together as a community.

Here’s to new teachers, new friends, big dreams, and an incredible year ahead! 💙🤍

Last night’s Back to School Bash was the perfect way to kick off the school year — picking up supplies, grabbing that new CCE spirit wear, meeting teachers, seeing old friends, and getting those first-day jitters out of the way! 🎒✏️

Tomorrow, our halls are filled with Cougars once again, and we couldn’t be more excited! Here’s to a year of DREAMING BIG, making memories, learning lots, and growing together. 🌟

This month, we’re celebrating our fearless PTA President, Leisha Stamps! Her leadership, time, and dedication are already making a difference at CCE—and she’s a great reminder of what happens when parents show up and get involved.
