Kesem at University of Texas - Dallas Kesem is a nationwide community that supports children through and beyond a parent’s cancer. We appreciate your donations and fundraising.

Camp Kesem's mission is to support children through and beyond their parent’s cancer with innovative, fun-filled programs that foster a lasting community. A program of Kesem, Camp Kesem operates over 100 free summer camps in 40 states for children ages 6 to 18 who have been impacted by a parent’s cancer. Kesem programs have a lasting impact on children by providing them a peer-support network that

understands their unique needs, builds confidence and strengthens their communication skills. In 2018, Camp Kesem served over 8,900 children coast-to-coast - all funded by generous donations from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners. Camp Kesem at University of Texas at Dallas was founded in 2016 and supports children in the North Texas/DFW community by providing a free week-long summer camp experience and year-round peer support. Camp Kesem at University of Texas at Dallas is operated by 75 student volunteers and serves 91 campers ages 6-18 per year. Camp Kesem is a federally registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Please note that while fundraising through Facebook supports our cause on a national level, these gifts cannot be designated directly to our chapter at this time.

This is more than a race—it’s a chance to come together as a community, raise awareness, and support families affected by cancer.
