FUMCRyouth We are the youth of First United Methodist Church, Richardson.

Next summer, FUMCRYouth will be going on mission all together, heading to McAllen TX! Mission Trip will be from June 19-26, 2027 with students who have completed 7th-12th grade this year.

McAllen is a border town in the very south of Texas, where we will have an opportunity to participate in some cool and impactful ministry that includes construction, disaster relief, and cross-cultural ministry, like VBC. Mission Trip will cost $600 per student, and registration opens for all students and adults on November 1, with a refundable deposit through January 31.

October is home to our annual food drive supporting one of our partners, Network of Community Ministries! This year, we are collecting boxes of mac & cheese - a shelf-stable staple that is essential in stocking a family pantry.

The grade that collects the MOST mac & cheese (by weight) during the competition will win breakfast for their Sunday School on us. Bring your boxes with you to Sunday School or UMYF and we’ll add them to your class totals!

Here’s everything happening this month at FUMCRYouth! We hope to see you soon!

Kick Off was such a blast! 200+ of our friends joined us for Sunday School and UMYF. We made balloon animals and M&M mosaics, painted Scantrons and did engineering with spaghetti; we had ice cream and balloon arches, did worship and small groups - and had SO MUCH FUN.

If we didn’t get to see you, you can always join us this Sunday for Sunday School at 9:45am and UMYF at 5:30pm!

New to FUMCRyouth? This is a great place to start! We can't wait to see you!
