Good morning Scouters!
This summer there are 4 awesome NYLT courses for your scouts to sign up for and attend!
National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is an exciting, action-packed six-day council-level program designed to provide Scouts in troops, crews, and ships with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home units and other situations demanding leadership of self and others. The course is designed for both male and female Scouts BSA members who are at least 13 years old, and for Venturers or Sea Scouts who are at least 13 years old and have completed eighth grade.
Sessions 1 and 2 are June 5-10 right here at our own Wonderful Camp Wisdom!! There are only a few more spots available, and while we are wanting to fill up with all eligible scouts, we already have 4 female patrols and would love to have more!
Sessions 3 and 4 are July 10-15 at Beautiful Camp James Ray. There is plenty of space in both of these courses and I know they'd love to have you on course!
Partial scholarships are available to help with cost. Please reach out to the Course Director for the session you are wanting your scout to attend for more information.

As leaders, and parents, we want to make sure our scouts get the best possible scouting experience possible! By sending them to NYLT, they learn how to become better leaders in their unit, how to work together as a patrol, and how to have fun doing it all!
