Wapsi-Great Western Line Trail The Wapsi-Great Western Line (WGWL) Trailhead & Welcome Center serves as an information center for the recreational trail and community.

The Welcome Center offers refreshments (ice cream sundaes, beverages, pie on Pie Sundays), an art show, etc.

Why do communities of less than a 1,000 people pool together annually to bring a nationally accredited race to a rural area - one of only three in Iowa?
Because we believe our area has some of the best trails in the Midwest and we can't wait to share them with anyone - from near or far. Our volunteers make it happen!
