On Wednesday, the Ag Leadership Class hosted a college and career fair. It was a great turn out with 18 colleges/careers present. The students did a great job boosting their leadership skills by contacting the business/careers and hosting this fair!

A late post on State FFA Convention, but the Riceville FFA Chapter had a great time competing, taking tours, and exploring Iowa State Campus. 24 Riceville FFA members attended the State Convention with results from contests as follows:

Caleb Marr - Gold Rating and 1st Place in Diversified Crop Production Placement Proficiency 🥇
Poultry Judging - Gold Rating 🥇
Maci Miller - Gold Rating in Greenhand Quiz 🥇
Ag Biotechnology - Silver Rating 🥈
Farm Business Management - Silver Rating 🥈
Nolan Hendrickson, Isaac Marr, Piper Knode, and Klaire Eastman - Bronze Ratings in their respective quizzes 🥉
Chapter Exhibit - Bronze Rating 🥉
Chance Christensen and Tori Koenigs received their Iowa FFA Degrees 🏅

The members learned and grew a lot at state convention. All are eager to take on contests for the rest of this school year and this coming year!
