🇺🇸 VETERAN PROGRAM – FALL-IN FRIDAYS
Many veterans struggle with isolation, anger, anxiety, depression, survivor's guilt, relationship challenges, loss of purpose, and difficulty transitioning through life's challenges.
At Gaits of Hope, veterans work alongside horses in a structured, ground-based program designed to help participants identify patterns, gain new perspectives, develop practical tools, and create lasting change.
Over the past 10 years, veterans participating in our programs have reported an average 70–80% reduction in symptoms such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, anger, isolation, suicidal ideation, and substance abuse, while experiencing significant improvements in confidence, relationships, resilience, purpose, and overall quality of life.
Veterans have shared:

Our Youth Horse Camp is a hands-on equine-assisted learning experience designed to support:

Youth will learn horse safety, grooming, handling, and participate in engaging activities that help them better understand themselves and others—all while building connection with our incredible horses.
No horse experience necessary. This is not a riding program but one that focuses on mental & emotional well-being.

🐴🇺🇸 A Heartfelt Thank You to PleasureLand RV Center! 🇺🇸🐴
At Gaits of Hope Equine Assisted Healing, we are truly grateful for those who support this life-changing work.
This past weekend, our veterans were able to stay in comfort thanks to the generosity of PleasureLand RV Center, who provided these beautiful, state-of-the-art campers for our Veterans Retreat.
Having a comfortable, welcoming place to rest and recharge is an important part of the retreat experience, and these spacious campers helped make that possible.
A special thank you to Chad and Mitch for your kindness, support, and belief in the work we do. Your generosity directly impacts the lives of the veterans we serve.
