In 1966, Bob Fitch captured this image of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Rev. Jesse Jackson was captured at Penn Center on St. Helena Island, near Frogmore, South Carolina, during a South Christian Leadership Conference staff workshop. King was 37 and Jackson was 25.

In early, 1966 Jackson was appointed to head Operation Breadbasket, an economic program using boycotts and "selective buying" to pressure white-owned businesses to hire Black workers and support Black-owned companies.

Fitch's original image was back-and-white and I just brought it to life in full vivid color.
