Warm For Winter Clothing Pantry Warm for Winter is a FREE clothing pantry located at First Congregation United Church of Christ, 135 E Larch St Rhinelander. Everyone is welcome

Our volunteers maintain and operate a FREE clothing and bedding pantry open to all. The pantry is open the last Saturday of the month from September through February. In addition to warm winter clothing we have underwear, socks, sweaters, shirts etc. We also have a selection of children's toys.

Today as I drove past the UCC Church where we hold Warm for Winter, I noticed some bags on top of the locked WFW bin. We take donations from September through March. At that time, the bin is open. The program is run by volunteers. To my dismay, what I found was 3 very large bags on top of the bin, that were garage sale items perhaps from the weekend. I ended up struggling to get them into my vehicle and took them to Goodwill. We are NOT a repository for garage sale items. Please DO NOT leave ANY items at the Church for Warm For Winter until the Fall when we will announce the opening of the bin. Thank you.

Please share our post! We're having a Rummage Sale at the Pine Lake Town Hall tomorrow, Friday from 8-4pm and Saturday from 8-2pm. This is our yearly sale that allows us to purchase Children's boots and coats when we don't have enough donated!
We have a full room! Four tables of brand new children's toys. Great prices!

A Rummage sale is being held to benefit Warm for Winter at Pine Lake Town Hall 4197 River Rd Rhinelander. All proceeds will be used to purchase needed items like winter boots for kids.

Items available have been donated by numerous people (lots of toys, holiday decorations, clothing, household items, tools, etc)

Friday May 22 from 8 until 4
Saturday May 23 from 8 until 2

The next Warm for Winter distribution will be held Saturday March 28th from 9:30 until 11:30. With the warmer weather coming this is the last distribution of the season and the donation bin will be locked until next fall. Thanks everyone for your generous donations.

We had a very good distribution event Monday night and we saw a number of new families. We also want to thank everyone who donated items to Warm for Winter. We have 3 distribution events remaining this winter season and need a few items (Bedding - sheets sizes ( twin, queen or king), Comforters of all sizes). We also need towels, hand towels, washcloths and kitchen towels. Other items needed, kids boots and men’s gloves. Again we want to thank everyone who supports this cause!
