Incredibly humbled.

It's the only set of words that come to mind as we 'close' out the traditional work week, today.

When we said, “Boiler needed,” our community answered. ❤️

In the last couple of days, so much information, generosity, and support have come so quickly that we want to pause for a moment and recognize those who immediately offered solutions, expertise, and assistance:

• Others with professional expertise and experience who reached out to help us navigate our next steps.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, responding to our questions, and helping us find a path forward to keep Frederick Place warm.

If we missed recognizing you, please reach out. Any omission was unintentional, and we want to give appropriate gratitude.

Three anonymous donors covered our $20,000 need in less than 22 hours. Alongside that extraordinary generosity came businesses, professionals, media outlets, and neighbors ready to ensure our building remains warm when winter arrives.

We’re still sorting out the details, the information, all the things... We anticipate installation of the new boiler within the next several weeks.

Every offer of assistance and every share reminded us that it is our community who continues to carry the heart and heavy lift; our board, our staff, our volunteers the working hands to ensure our neighbors are cared for.

No words. Just overwhelming gratitude. ❤️

Not even 22 hours ago, we asked our community to help us raise $20,000 to replace our boiler.

THE GOAL HAS BEEN MET!

Every single donation was made anonymously. No recognition. No spotlight. Just extraordinary generosity from people who believe and acknowledge our mission of service.

Our boiler contracts are now under review, and we are moving forward! We will have a day, maybe two of a simple inconvenience while the boiler is replaced.

The 100% truth, our board, staff, & volunteers may be the hands moving the mission forward daily…. The reality? We could not do this work without our community’s support. Time and time again, you remind us what it means to care for one another - we’re incredibly humbled.

$20,000. Less than 22 hours. Every gift anonymous.

🚨 Frederick Place Needs a Boiler….YESTERDAY! 🔥❤️

We were really hoping to squeak by just ONE more Northwoods winter with our trusty ol’ boiler.

Well… The ol’ gal apparently had other plans and has decided to call it quits a bit earlier than her scheduled retirement! 🤦‍♀️❄️ Parts are nearly impossible to obtain.

Of course, winter is knocking!

We need to raise $20,000 to keep the hearth warm for our unhoused neighbors at NATH – Frederick Place. Quickly.

That’s a mighty big UNEXPECTED expense for our little nonprofit, but we’ve seen our incredible community accomplish some pretty extraordinary things when we come together!

We’re looking for generous hearts, helping hands, local businesses, heating professionals, and anyone willing to help us bring the heat! As our building is considered commercial, we’ve secured quotes, and selected a vendor in a hurry.

Now…. We’re hoping our community will help us raise the funds to get ‘er paid for.

Whether it’s $5, $50, $500, or a connection to someone who might be able to help, every ounce matters.
