Excited to be celebrating Disability Pride Month together with our friends at Unlimited Tomorrow!

What is Disability Pride Month? The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was passed on July 26, 1990, to prohibit discrimination against people with disabilities. Following this legislation, Boston held the first Disability Pride Day event in July 1990 and Disability Pride Month was born.

Kudos to Microsoft, The World Bank and Fordham University for starting this initiative which will help bridge the gap between the resources and opportunities available to those with disabilities and those without.

There are lots of sources for global data on economic indicators, population sizes, infectious diseases, sustainability — the list goes on.
