Reynoldsville Elks would like to thank all that came out to our annual Easter Egg Hunt this past Saturday morning April 4th at the Harry F. Kunselman Playground. Also a Huge thank you to Peggy Zortman and Chase for joining us in the fun and writing the article for the paper.....
Reynoldsville was the site of organized chaos. It seems that the Easter Bunny had scattered colored eggs everywhere — on the playground equipment, on the ground and in the grass. The scenery bloomed with bright Easter egg colors.

Members of the Reynoldsville Lodge #519 of the Fraternal Order of Elks once again organized and supervised this much-anticipated annual Easter Egg Hunt, an event that has been happening for more than 45 years.

It is estimated that between 110-125 children, ages 0-12, searched for eggs with dozens of equally-excited family members watching from the sidelines or helping the tiny ones fill Easter baskets.

Once all eggs had been collected, adults and children alike gathered inside the shelter, anxiously awaiting the drawing for new bicycles. The shiny new bikes came in all sizes for boys and girls of all ages.

The Easter Bunny (with a lot of help) made many people very happy on a beautiful spring morning.
