Central Ohio Work Camp

Central Ohio Work Camp Central Ohio Work Camp (June 2nd - 9th, 2019) is an opportunity for teenagers to serve by giving a week's worth of their time voluntarily painting houses.

For one week in June, over one hundred teenagers and adults spend their evenings in the dorms of Otterbein University, and then by day divide up into crews painting 10 or 12 houses. Central Ohio Work Camp succeeds by cooperating with local agencies, churches and organizations, and relies on the community support of businesses who help feed, equip and provide resources for this great community even

Central Ohio Work Camp was full of wonderful transformations. Homeowners were fascinated with the painting of their homes. Perhaps the greatest instance of transformation was the continued gracious work of God in Mariah. Mariah was baptized on Thursday at Alum Creek Stare beach. This is a first for our Work Camp. Mariah is a sweet young lady and we are praying for her continued growth.

PIcs from our final group. A special shoutout to one of the crew leaders on this Crew. Not only was it Adam Metz who originally presented this idea in 2005, as the Chaplain at Willow Brook Christian communities, he helped create a new partnership. Willow Brook supported this crew with lunch everyday and provided the paint for the house. When organizations work together, blessings will abound. We are Better Together!
