Manna On Main Blessing Box

Hi Everyone!

Some of you may notice a For Sale sign going up in our yard soon. Our family will be moving, and because of that I will no longer be able to continue caring for and maintaining the Blessing Box here at Manna on Main.

This little box has meant so much to me. It has been incredibly special to watch neighbors help neighbors and to see the quiet generosity that exists in this community. Something so simple became a reminder of how much kindness people are willing to share with one another.

Thank you to everyone who has donated items, stocked the box, shared posts, or simply used it when you needed a little help. You all made it so much more than just a box of food..you made it a symbol of compassion and community.

Although I won’t be able to continue maintaining it, my biggest hope is that the box can continue to serve the community. If anyone has ever considered helping care for it or keeping it going, it would mean so much to see it continue.

Thank you all for allowing our family to be a small part of something so meaningful ❤️

A local family reached out to our Manna on Main Blessing Box because they’re struggling to put food on the table right now. If you’re able to donate groceries or a grocery gift card, it would truly help lighten their load.

If you know anyone in need of emergency shelter, please share this with them! ❤️

The overnight shelter will be open seven days a week through April 15. It will also serve as a day shelter on Saturdays and Sundays.

🌧️❄️Blessing Box SOS❄️🌧️
The blessing box has been such a blessing for the community, but we’ve run into a couple of challenges…
1️⃣ When it rains or the snow melts, water gets inside and some items get ruined. 💦
2️⃣ We’d love a bigger box/shed so we can include not just food, but also other helpful items like hygiene products, blankets, clothing, and more.

We’re looking for ideas, solutions, or donations to help us
•Make the blessing box waterproof
•Make it larger and able to hold a wider variety of items
If you’ve seen a good design, have materials, want to help fund this project, or even have a smaller sized shed to donate, we’d be so grateful!
Every bit helps us continue supporting our neighbors. ❤️
