This is a great show to go watch! Hope to see y’all there!

🤠 LAST-MINUTE LINEUP ADDITION — AND THEY’RE BRINGING SOMETHING BACK WITH THEM!🎶

We’re excited to announce that The Idaho Cowboy Band is joining us at the 2026 Lost N Lava Cowboy Gathering!

Stacy, Bart, and Bill will be taking the Lost N Lava stage Friday afternoon, adding even more great Western music to this year’s lineup.
But that’s not all…

🎸 THE JAM SESSIONS ARE BACK! 🎸
After the evening concerts Friday AND Saturday night, stick around because The Idaho Cowboy Band will be helping us bring back one of those great Lost N Lava traditions — our after-concert Jam Sessions!

We can’t thank Stacy, Bart, and Bill enough for their continued dedication to Lost N Lava and, especially, their willingness to step up and take on the Jam Sessions for us this year. That kind of support is exactly what keeps an all-volunteer event like ours going.

So bring your instruments, bring your friends, or just grab a chair and enjoy the music. You never quite know who might join in!

The Idaho Cowboy Band is coming to Lost N Lava… and the Jam Sessions are BACK! 🤠🎻🎸

Remembering the great show we had in Rexburg, and looking forward to the next gathering. Who can we plan on seeing in Rupert??

We’re deeply saddened to share that this last Thursday morning Dave Fulfs passed away. We’ve missed Farmer Dave’s presence at Cowboy Poetry Gatherings for quite some time now while battling illness. We’ll share the obituary when it is available, but wanted to let the community that he loved know of his passing! We’ll continue to miss his music and friendship, if anyone would like to share pictures or memories in the comments please feel free to do so!

On May 11th we lost a dear friend and poet within our community. After a difficult sick spell, sweet Ellie Corrigan was in need of rest and her soul returned to heaven.

We’ll miss her spirit, laughter, friendship and beautiful poetry at our gatherings! Ellie was a core member of CPI for so many years and we cherish the memories we had the privilege to make with her. If anyone feels so inclined to please drop additional photos and stories of Ellie in the comments as well.

There will be a Celebration of Life held for Ellie on June 27th (this Saturday) at the Living Waters Ranch Event Center at 1 pm.
3599 Garden Creek Rd, Challis ID

Her absence will be very much felt but we’re so blessed to carry her with us through memories and the poems she leaves behind.
