Network for Education of the Poor in Rural Rwanda

Network for Education of the Poor in Rural Rwanda NEPRR links the very poor rural Rwandans who are unable to get a college education to those who are willing to sponsor them or build the cause.

The network links the very poor rural Rwandans who are financially unable to get college education to all individuals and/or organizations that are willing to contribute to this cause. The sponsored individuals go to colleges in the East African community (Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi and Kenya). There is no other financial assistance available for the individuals that NEPRR assists. Based on

the cost of education and cost of living there, it requires $2,300 USD to complete the entire academic year (i.e. $192 USD per month). This includes tuition, housing, and all other living expenses. Recipients are selected once the full cost of a four year degree is raised, or a pledge by a dependable donor is secured.

These are pictures taken of individuals in Rural Rwanda. People in these areas typically learn trades (such as basket making) and farm on small pieces of land in order to make their living and feed their large families. With an education they can learn more skills and assist their communities in growth.
