Today starts our last semester providing internships to BYU-Idaho students! We would like to welcome all of our new interns and wish them good luck for the coming weeks. Wendy holds many titles at the RBDC. She is the Recruiting Manager, Finance Manager, Office Manager and HR Manager. Her innate love for people finds perfect alignment in these roles, making her professional journey both fulfilling and enriching.

Prior to the RBDC, Wendy carved her path through entrepreneurship, owning and operating multiple successful businesses. She went back to school and received her Bachelors in Business, and Master’s in Learning and Technology.

Wendy has six children, five girls and a boy. One of her hobbies is working on her current business GetEducationForFREE.com where she teaches students how to find and apply for scholarships. She also enjoys ballroom dancing, pickleball, yoga, and hosting a “Grandma Camp” for her 5 grandkids.

Did you hear? The spring semester is the last time the RBDC will offer business projects staffed with interns. So, what is next for us? As we embark on a new chapter, the RBDC will transition to the Idaho Entrepreneur Center and embrace a new mission: to support entrepreneurs and small businesses in Idaho, including managing entrepreneur programs for municipalities. Our new comprehensive suite of entrepreneurial programs aims to provide resources and guidance to entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey:
1) Entrepreneur Edge Program- An invaluable bundle of all our business resources at an affordable cost to get your business up and running.
2) Entrepreneur Boot Camp- In six weeks, learn from seasoned entrepreneurs who have already navigated this path and craft a detailed business roadmap.
3) Entrepreneur Launch- A tailor-made program for entrepreneurs and small business owners who are seeking funding and strategic guidance to propel their businesses forward.

Additionally, our co-work space will offer a collaborative environment where innovative ideas can flourish. We will host Networking Nights to facilitate valuable connections within the business community. Our research projects will deliver actionable insights without requiring a significant time investment from business clients.

In the coming months, we hope to expand our reach to all Eastern Idaho and we will offer entrepreneurial support to surrounding municipalities. The Idaho Entrepreneur Center can supplement what municipalities already have in place by providing the following: Business incubators/accelerators, support systems, and education and training.

With that in mind, we invite you to join us for Idaho Gives. Mark your calendars (April 29th to May 2nd) and get ready to be part of something extraordinary. This month, you have a chance to be a part of Idaho's day of giving - an opportunity to unite our community. We seek your support in raising $50,000 to provide essential resources for empowering entrepreneurs and small businesses in Idaho, including access to comprehensive training programs, collaborative coworking spaces, networking opportunities, and more.

You can become an ambassador for the RBDC! As an ambassador, you will be provided with your own personal fundraising page on GiveGab. This page will allow you to share your story, set fundraising goals, and collect donations on behalf of the RBDC from your network of friends, family, colleagues, and social connections. Once you reach $500 in donations from your network, you will receive a $50 Amazon gift card. Donations must be contributed through your specialized link in order to count towards the $500. Sign up to be an ambassador for the RBDC at https://b24-e26ytu.bitrix24.site/rbdc-ambassadors/. You will then receive an invitation email. The email will contain information about logging in, as well as a link to your Fundraising Dashboard, where you will manage and customize your page.
