I AM STILL SOMEBODY is a nonprofit founded by Tamala LaShae, dedicated to Reclaiming, Restoring & Replenishing the Community through mental health, senior care, youth empowerment, economic development, and family support. Rewrite the narrative to impart a more positive representation of the homeless and single parents in our communities. will offer support to the homeless and single parents in the local communities. We intended to serve by providing daily meals, daily showers, rehabilitation, well-care, educational coaching/opportunities, interview coaching, job application/résumé writing, job placement, & temporary housing(for those that meet the qualifications). We also intend to serve the community by providing low cost ways & opportunities for the homeless & single parents in need to give them an opportunity to become effective in society. We will create a platform in which the homeless and single parents can share resources, foster relationships amongst each other, mentorship opportunities in which they can provide support, and share with others who are experiencing being homeless and a single parent. We will also provide daycare resources, tutoring, and mentorship for the children.
