We stand in strength and solidarity for Breast Cancer Awareness. Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated - Reston, VA Chapter Goes Pink🩷🩷🩷

Jack and Jill of America, Inc. proudly goes pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💕

Throughout October, we stand in solidarity with all who have been touched by breast cancer — honoring survivors, uplifting fighters, and remembering the loved ones we’ve lost.

Within our community, many of us have felt the impact of this disease — a mother, a sister, a friend — reminding us that awareness is deeply personal. Black women experience one of the highest breast cancer mortality rates among all ethnicities, underscoring why early detection, advocacy, and access to care remain so vital.

We invite our mothers, sisters, and daughters to wear pink this month as a visible sign of hope, unity, and love — and to tag to help spread the message. Together, let’s remind one another to schedule mammograms, share stories of resilience, and continue lifting each other up through awareness and action.

We were NOURISHED as we FLOURISHED at the Southern Cluster AWD under the leadership of RD Fatimah Moody and the Remarkable Reston Chapter President Kimberly Adams, Conference Chair Blake Sias, and Conference Ch-Chair Courtney Chadwick. Thank you for your thought leadership and vision! It was a huge success for over 850 mothers, teens and middle schoolers.
