March 27, 2020 —
Marshall lost his life to fentanyl-laced Xanax.

Six years later, there are still no words big enough for a loss like this—only memories, love, and the impact he left behind.

Everyday, we remember who Marshall was beyond that moment.
His life. His story. His light.

And everyday, we also choose to fight back.

We fight for awareness.
We fight for prevention.
We fight for every life touched by substance use.

We honor Marshall not only in grief, but in action—building a legacy rooted in compassion, and change.

Because his story matters.
Because their lives matter.

Forever remembered. Forever loved. 🕊️

✨ Happy Holidays, everyone! ✨

This year has been absolutely incredible for our foundation — all because of YOU. 🤍

Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $10,000, and we proudly partnered with Recovery Unplugged to provide FIVE scholarships supporting young adults as they enter or remain in recovery.

This is a huge win not just for us, but for our entire community.

We’re so grateful for your support and hope you’ll continue this journey with us in 2025 as we work to reach even greater heights!

🤍 Thank you for making hope possible. 🤍 If you have any questions, would like to donate, or are interested in becoming a sponsor, please visit our website for contact information (link in bio).

🌟 Thank You from the Marshall Nicholas III Foundation! 🌟

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated through our GoFundMe and joined us at our second event! Your support is invaluable to our mission of providing funding for young individuals seeking recovery but lacking the financial means.

At the Marshall Nicholas III Foundation, we recognize the critical role of community support in the recovery journey. Our goal is to fund one patient per quarter into an inpatient recovery program by 2026, empowering them to achieve sobriety and pursue education or trade opportunities.

Our events aim not only to highlight the importance of community in recovery but also to honor those lost to this epidemic. Stay tuned for more information on the application process for assistance.

We are excited to announce upcoming events and hope to see you there as we continue to support our cause and remember Marshall Nicholas III. Together, we can make a difference! 💙

The Marshall Nicholas III Foundation was established in loving memory of Marshall Nicholas III, a vibrant soul whose life was tragically cut short. A devoted brother, son, friend, nephew, and grandson, Marshall was known for his kindness, intelligence, and unwavering spirit. He proudly graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Hospitality Management, eagerly embracing opportunities in his field. His enthusiasm shone through during his internship at Massanutten Resort, continued to flourish at Airly, and culminated in his first managerial role at the Red Fox Inn.

Tragically, Marshall’s life was impacted by an epidemic that affects individuals regardless of their background or aspirations. This harsh reality is something many do not fully comprehend—it disrupts lives without warning, leaving devastation in its wake.

In honor of Marshall’s legacy, our mission at the Marshall Nicholas III Foundation is to provide young adults with the support and resources they need to overcome addiction and pursue their education. We believe that every individual deserves a chance to reclaim their future and thrive. Through our programs, we aim to empower young people to achieve sobriety, pursue their passions, and build the bright futures they deserve. Together, we can help transform lives and create a positive impact in our communities.

And we have a game time y’all! See you guys there 😎
