Chartered in 1975, the Reston (VA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated provides exceptional service programs to residents in Northern Virginia. The award winning programming of the Reston Chapter mirrors that of our national organization. We have five programming facets which include The Arts, Health and Human Services, International Trends and Services, National Trends and Services and Services to

Youth. Our programs are implemented through a variety of approaches including public information and education, economic development, public policy campaigns, partnerships and collaborations, and volunteerism.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Link Sister, Danielle Brown.

Our beloved Link Sister leaves behind an extraordinary legacy of friendship, service, and transformational leadership. Through her unwavering commitment to The Links, Incorporated, and countless organizations dedicated to strengthening families, youth, and communities, Danielle touched lives across the nation and inspired all who had the privilege of knowing and serving alongside her.

While her accomplishments were many, it was her gracious spirit, genuine sisterhood, and steadfast dedication to others that will be remembered most. Her presence within our chapter and throughout our community will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.

Please keep all who loved Danielle in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

The Links, Incorporated joins the collective chorus mourning the passing of Rev. Jesse Jackson. As a civil rights leader, community organizer and presidential candidate, Rev. Jackson inspired generations of Americans to vote, run for office and lead at every level. His presence will be missed, but his impact remains.

Our NSBE Jr. students stepped in ready to explore, build, and innovate at their most recent chapter meeting.💡✨

They built towering structures with intentionality and teamwork during Mr. Glenn Miller’s engineering challenge. They piloted robots, solved problems, and strategized like innovators with guidance from Mr. Leighton Redditt. And, they unlocked the power of their own minds in Dr. Lauren Parker’s brain health session, discovering how brain health helps them think, create, and problem-solve in STEM. 🧠💚

The best part? Their confidence deepened. Their teamwork strengthened. Their imagination expanded.

Our NSBE Jr. scholars are already thinkers, leaders, and creators. These NSBE Jr. experiences simply elevate the brilliance they bring to every room. It’s our pleasure to serve them.
