Mark your calendars. The Carriage Gate Board will be hosting a Virtual Town Hall on Thursday, April 22. Kathy from Rosewood will be sending the official notice, but the Board wanted to make sure you all got this information ASAP. They're baaaaaack! Brood X cicadas have been officially spotted in Carriagegate. These gross zombie cockroaches attract snakes, so be careful near snake-friendly places, like rocks, bushes, and tall grass. They call or nearby creek the "snake den" branch for a good reason.

Genesis Landscapes, Inc., our common area landscaper, offers private yard services, too.

Services will be performed in in conjunction with the weekly common area maintenance and will begin in April and continue through the end of October. The cost is $225.00 - $275.00 depending on the service selected.

Anyone interested in this service can sign up by completing the form in the picture and mail the form along with a check made payable to Genesis Landscapes to the address on the form.

The deadline for signing up is March 30. Anyone wishing to receive the service after this date will be charged an additional administrative fee of $25.00.

Trash day reminder:
Trash needs to be in trash cans with secure lids. Excess trash must be in heavy duty plastic bags.

Please do not use bags labeled "flex" or "stretch." Animals can tear into those easily.

Recycling day is tomorrow. Make sure you are following the guidelines. Not everything with a recycling symbol is recyclable in Fairfax county.

We got notified that Recycling will not be served today. We are settling clarification from Republic as to when our next pickup will be. So for now, please retrieve your recycling back to your properties until further notice by Republic Services.
