IFCN & its Clinical Neurophysiology journals -Legacy site until Spring 2020 The main goal of the IFCN is to promote education and the highest level of practice of Clinical Neurophysiology to improve health. Mark Hallett
IFCN President.

Welcome to the new IFCN page! Communication in the 21st century is evolving and we want to be sure to maintain good contacts with all members of the IFCN affiliated societies. Additionally, events are happening all the time, news changes rapidly, and we want to be sure to keep everyone up-to-date. We have had an outstanding website and we will continue that, but a page will deliv

er a more fast-paced picture of what’s going on. We will have “news you can use”, information about people, pictures, and, hopefully, some fun stuff as well. As a first bit of news, ExCo attended the Latin-American Chapter meeting in Cartagena, March 11 to 14. It was a terrific meeting, despite an earthquake in the country that shook the lecture hall, but did not deter Jun Kimura’s workshop. There were about 390 attendees who took advantage of numerous sessions covering all aspects of clinical neurophysiology. I noted considerable interest in Intraoperative Monitoring in South America, as is also the case in USA. Cartagena is a city worth visiting, interesting old architecture (photo day), nice beaches, good shopping, warm weather, and active night life (photo night). Check out the website for all the exciting developments of the IFCN including the new journal and new opportunities including an expanded fellowship training program.
