Did you know that RCW PTO provides a Jag Swag shirt to every new-to-the-district student in grades K–8? 🐆🌟

Starting at a new school can be a big transition, and we want every new student to feel welcomed from day one. By giving them a little Jag Swag of their own, we hope to help instill a sense of pride, belonging, and connection to their new school community.

Upon receiving her Jag Swag shirt, this 5th grade student asked the teacher if later she can change and wear the shirt for the day. ☺️💙💛

🚸 BACK TO SCHOOL SAFETY REMINDER 🚸
As students head back to school, the Renville County Sheriff's Office is asking motorists and parents to help keep our children safe.

🚗 Motorists:
• Slow down in school zones and obey posted speed limits.
• Watch carefully for children crossing streets, especially near bus stops.
• Never pass a stopped school bus with flashing red lights and an extended stop arm—it’s the law and could save a child’s life.
• Stay alert and eliminate distractions while driving.

🚌 Parents:
Take a few minutes to review school bus safety with your children:
• Arrive at the bus stop early and stay away from the roadway.
• Wait for the bus to come to a complete stop before approaching.
• Always cross in front of the bus where the driver can see you, and only when signaled by the driver.
• Keep track of your belongings and follow the driver’s instructions.

Working together, we can make this school year a safe one for every student. Have a great and safe school year!

The RCW PTO is excited to welcome all students, families, and staff to a brand-new school year! 📚✏️ We’re looking forward to another year filled with learning, growth, and community.

The PTO is here to support our teachers, encourage our students, and create fun opportunities for families to get involved. Together, we can make this year the best one yet!

We love finding fun little ways to treat our amazing teachers and staff! 💕🍎

Today for District Day, we set up a Hydration Station in the teachers’ lounge! 💧🍑🍓 Teachers can mix, match, and customize their own flavored waters for a refreshing pick-me-up throughout the day.
