We are thinking of all impacted by the current situations around the world. So many who have had to say goodbye, pivot their plans, and deal with the stress and crisis of not knowing where their loved one is headed, how long, and what will happen.
The spouses of those who serve are incredible and sacrifice so much. We salute those who serve and are headed to protect our country and all of those who will be here, holding down the home front. Thank you all for your service!
If you’re a military spouse, today feels heavy.
There’s a quiet tension that sits in your chest when the news starts talking about the Middle East again… when words like “strikes,” “retaliation,” and “deployment” start showing up everywhere. And now, with the U.S. and Israel launching attacks on Iran and Iran responding with strikes on U.S. bases, it all suddenly feels very real again.
You don’t need all the details to feel it.
You feel it in the way you check your phone a little more.
In the way your mind jumps ahead to “what if.”
In the way you look at your kids a little longer today.
Because you know what this can mean.
You know the possibility of long nights, of unknown timelines, of plans changing in an instant. You know the strength it takes to hold everything together at home while your heart is somewhere else.
And maybe no one around you is talking about it…
but you feel it anyway.
So if that’s you today—if your heart feels a little heavier, if your anxiety is creeping in, if you’re trying to stay strong but also feeling the weight of it all—you are not alone.
There is a whole community of us carrying that same quiet burden today.
Praying a little harder.
Holding our families a little closer.
And hoping, more than anything, for peace.
