Community Center for Education Results

Community Center for Education Results The Community Center for Education Results (CCER) is a backbone organization driving education equity across South King County and beyond.

We use data, research, and community voice to support systems change that improves outcomes for students. We are a collective impact initiative to dramatically improve student achievement in South King County and South Seattle. Our focus is on seven school districts: Auburn, Federal Way, Highline, Kent, Renton, Seattle and Tukwila. This page is managed by the Community Center for Education Results (CCER), a nonprofit created to support the Road Map Project.

Our 2026 legislative priorities focus on what students need most: equitable funding, college access, and support programs that work. From restoring financial aid eligibility to ensuring charter schools receive fair funding, we're advocating for policies that open doors for all students in the Road Map Region. 1 in 7 households in South King County struggles with food insecurity—significantly higher than King County’s average of 1 in 10.

South King County is home to the Road Map Region, where 62% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch and communities of color face food insecurity rates 2–3 times higher than the county average.

Food insecurity hits harder here. CCER is working to support communities in the Road Map Region. Reach out if you want to get involved.

When SNAP is under threat, families pay the price. Cuts will deepen racial and regional disparities in hunger—especially in South King County, where food insecurity rates are already above the county average.

We can’t let this happen. Join us as we share the data, the stories, and how we can respond as a community.

Thank you to everyone who attended our 2025 Fall Convening. Your energy, insights, and presence made the space powerful.

As we close out the year, we’re reflecting on how far we’ve come: shifting from top-down metrics to community-driven insights, elevating student voice, and driving systems change rooted in racial justice.

Your support helps us move from measuring outcomes to transforming them.

Did you know?
Students of color are disproportionately placed into precollege courses—even when their high school transcripts qualify them for college-level math.

This isn’t just a data point—it’s a call to action. These placement practices delay progress, increase costs, and limit opportunity. At CCER, we’re working to change that by using data to challenge inequitable systems and advocate for policies that reflect students’ true potential.
