Jasper County Economic Development Organization A county-wide, not-for-profit, economic development corporation serving all communities and citizens of Jasper County, Indiana. www.jaspercountyin.com

The JCEDO staff also markets the region to a worldwide audience; actively pursues companies, professionals and resources whose presence in Jasper County would enhance the competitiveness of area businesses or strengthen the regional economy. During and following an expansion or location project, qualified businesses receive ongoing support through a complete introduction to the business community. The JCEDO links qualified small-to-medium-sized businesses to one another, as well as to a network of state and local technical resources. These links provide inter-firm learning and networking opportunities that are offered to all levels of an organization and are "delivered" on-site at area businesses or through off-site groups. One of the great strengths of the Jasper County economy is the work ethic and training of our workforce. The JCEDO provides a crucial link between business and education to help ensure that our workforce is prepared to meet the growing need for skilled workers by our growing business community.

🎄✨ Calling all artists and creatives! ✨🎨

We’re getting into the holiday spirit and need YOUR creativity! We’re hosting a Christmas Card Design Contest and are looking for an original design that captures what makes Jasper County special during the Christmas season. Think local landmarks, traditions, scenery, history, or anything that feels like Christmas right here at home!

Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply love getting creative, we’d love to see what you come up with!
- Open to anyone 14 years or older
- Limit of up to 3 designs per person
- $250 prize for the winning design
- Winner authorizes the use the selected design for the purpose of resale to Jasper County Economic Development
- Submissions are open now through October 15

Designs can be submitted in one of two ways:
- Email your design to [email protected]
- Drop off your design in person at the Jasper County Welcome Center, open Tuesdays-Fridays, 9 am-4 pm, Saturdays, 9 am-1 pm, and October 15th 9am-8pm (Open late for Third Thursdays in Downtown Rensselaer).

🎓 It’s more than just a Career Fair!

This year, students can take their career exploration one step further through our Career Discovery Meetings!

These small-group sessions are for students interested in learning more about a specific industry or career path. Students can dive deeper, hear directly from professionals in the field, ask questions, and better understand what a career in that industry could look like.

Our goal is to give students more than an introduction to potential careers—we want to give them the chance to explore their interests, make meaningful connections, and leave with a clearer idea of the opportunities available to them after high school.

We’re excited to make this year’s Career Fair an even more valuable experience for our students! 💼

JCEDO is proud to collaborate with Rensselaer Central High School for the upcoming Career Fair this November, bringing local employers and students together to explore career opportunities right here in our community.

This event gives students the opportunity to connect directly with local businesses, discover career paths they may not have considered, and learn about the skills and education that can help them reach their goals.

By connecting today’s students with local employers, we’re helping them envision a future in Jasper County while building a stronger workforce and community for years to come.
