It's been a while. We have not been getting to the camp much. We've done a little hunting here and there but not like we'd like to. That's going to change here shortly. We're saddened to pass along that recently we lost a long time former guest, Ervin "Jim" Cook. He hunted out of Miss A Bear Camp for numerous seasons. Rest in peace Cookie.

We're bringing it back! Last weekend of winter coyote hunt! March 14th to the 16th is the last full weekend of winter and a great time to get out and save some deer, drink beer, and play cards at Miss A Bear Camp. See or message Roger Krause for details.

We started bear season with some wet snow which pretty much disappeared before Saturday morning. Even though it was like all the seasons of the year jammed into 4 days, some hunting did occur. We did not get any bears but it wasn't for a lack of effort. My GPS tracker said I walked 19.6 miles, with some sitting and scouting the whole time. Until next time.
