Officer Robert Milton, 11/18/1965 - 10/3/2020

Officer Milton served over 27 years with the Paris Police Department before retiring in 2017 and joining the Paris ISD police. At Paris High School, he not only ensured student safety but also taught criminal justice, inspiring future officers and guiding students toward better choices.

Please keep his family, both by blood and blue, in your thoughts and prayers.

🎀 OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🎀

This month, we honor the fighters, remember those we’ve lost, celebrate the survivors, and stand beside every family facing a life-threatening illness.

But awareness is only the beginning.

Uplift for Life is genuinely committed to fighting cancer and life-threatening illnesses right here in our community. ❤️

What makes our organization different is simple:

The money raised through Uplift for Life goes directly back into our community to help people who are facing life-threatening illnesses.

We have had multiple recipients right here in our community whose burdens have been lifted because of the generosity of those who support Uplift for Life. Sometimes that help means a bill that can finally be paid. Sometimes it means groceries, transportation, household expenses, or simply taking one more worry off the shoulders of someone who is already carrying far too much.

This is what fighting looks like.
Not just wearing pink.
Not just talking about cancer.
But standing beside people when they need us most. 🩷

💙🚔 LAW ENFORCEMENT NIGHT | HONORING A LIFETIME OF SERVICE 🚔💙

Friday night, Wildcat Nation proudly came together to honor the men and women who serve and protect our community during Law Enforcement Night at Wildcat Stadium.

It was especially fitting to have Paris Assistant Police Chief Randy Tuttle serve as our Honorary Captain for the coin toss.

A proud member of the Paris High School Class of 1977, Chief Tuttle has spent 47 years serving with the Paris Police Department—and throughout those years, he has also been a familiar and steadfast presence supporting Paris ISD and our community.

Having one of our own Wildcats return to the field to represent the law enforcement officers who give so much to our community made the night even more meaningful. 🐾💙

Thank you, Chief Tuttle, and thank you to ALL of our law enforcement officers for your service, sacrifice, and commitment to keeping our community safe.

It’s National CERT Week! 💚

We are incredibly thankful for our Lamar County CERT volunteers and the time, heart, and dedication they give to our community.

Whether they are supporting first responders during emergencies, helping with firefighter rehab, assisting at community events, or stepping up wherever they are needed, our CERT members are always ready to serve.

These volunteers give their time simply because they care about Lamar County and the people who call it home, and we are so fortunate to have them.
