🌪️ Twists, Turns, and Tornadoes! 🌪️

Our Challenge Island STEAM Teams took on the Tornado Chaser Survival Spin challenge! 🌪️🔬

Inspired by Lauren Tarshis’ I Survived the Joplin Tornado, our young engineers explored the science behind tornadoes, learned how storm chasers study severe weather, and created their very own tornado vortexes using water bottles! 💦

They also put their skills to the test with a spinning ping pong ball challenge, exploring motion, force, and a little friendly competition! 🏓

A little science, a little engineering, and a WHOLE lot of swirling fun! 🌴💜

🐾📚💥 Dog Man is the perfect reminder that different thinkers can do amazing things!

Dav Pilkey grew up with ADHD and dyslexia, and his creativity eventually brought us Dog Man. Today, our kids got to tap into that same kind of imagination as they designed, built, tested, and improved their own Monster Police Trucks. 🚙✨

We LOVE giving kids the chance to think differently, problem solve, and see just how powerful their ideas can be! 💜🏝️
