Art doesn’t fade with age. It deepens.

The Nevada Arts Council Creative Aging program brings that belief to life by using hands-on artistic engagement to support well-being, connection, and lifelong learning for older Nevadans.

Through painting, music, storytelling, and other creative experiences, older adults discover new interests, strengthen cognitive and physical abilities, and build meaningful friendships along the way.

These programs also help combat chronic loneliness, which impacts 25% of older adults, while expanding access to arts experiences in both rural and urban communities across Nevada.

Through the Nevada Creative Aging Coalition, partners across nonprofit, education, government, healthcare, and business sectors work together to:
-Expand access to creative aging programs
-Increase funding for current and future initiatives
-Advocate for arts as part of holistic care for older adults
-Raise public awareness about the benefits of creative engagement

Because creativity isn’t just something we do. It’s something that keeps us connected. Get involved: [LINK]
