Introducing our 2026 CommUNITY Pride Parade Grand Marshal, Randy Burns!

A Northern Paiute activist, author, and community leader, Randy co-founded Gay American Indians in 1975, the first organization in the United States created by and for gay and le***an Native Americans.

For more than 50 years, Randy has championed Indigenous, LGBTQ+ and Two-Spirit communities, preserved important cultural histories, and helped ensure Native voices were represented in the fight against HIV/AIDS. His leadership and courage have inspired generations and helped strengthen the modern Two-Spirit movement.

We are honored to celebrate Randy Burns and his extraordinary legacy of advocacy, visibility and community.

Join us Saturday at 10 AM on California Avenue as Randy leads the 2026 CommUNITY Pride Parade!
