Meet your 2026 YLC!

Jaida Hargrove graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, double majoring in Finance and Economics. She graduated magna cm laude and currently works in financial services at Edward Jones.

A lifelong Reno resident, Jaida grew up playing basketball through the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. Having grown up around the Club, she is excited to give back to an organization that was part of her childhood and to be involved in a new way through the Young Leaders Committee. Outside of work and YLC, Jaida enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends and growing her local cookie business, Sunrise Sweets.

Meet your 2026 YLC!

A fifth-generation Nevadan, Kelsey works as an Assistant Vice President, Client Advisor at Whittier Trust and is a proud two-time University of Nevada, Reno graduate, earning both her bachelor’s degree and MBA from UNR.

Kelsey joined the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows Young Leaders Committee in 2024 and has loved being part of the Club ever since. Her favorite events are the ones where she gets to spend time with the kids and see firsthand the impact the Club has on them and their families.

In her free time, Kelsey is usually enjoying a run, spending time with her husband, Tyler, and their two dogs, or at home baking a loaf of sourdough bread.

Kelsey is an integral part of our executive committee, serving her first term as Secretary.

Meet your 2026 YLC!

Jake Ramatici is a commercial insurance broker, Vice President of Commercial Lines at HUB International, and real estate professional. He has spent much of his life in Petaluma, California, and Reno, Nevada, and considers both home. Jake earned his undergraduate degree from California Lutheran University, where he played football, and an MBA with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Professionally, Jake enjoys learning what makes a business work and finding ways to help manage its risks. What he values most, though, are the relationships he builds along the way.
Jake knows firsthand the difference a strong community can make and tries to stay involved wherever he can. He has served as treasurer of the ALS Association of Nevada and as a board member of the UNR College of Business Alumni Association. He currently serves as YLC’s new member coordinator.
As much as Jake values helping businesses and giving back to his community, his family comes first. He and his wife, Kiley, have two young sons, Graham and Leo. On weekends and whenever they get the chance, they head to Truckee, California, to spend time together and enjoy the outdoor adventures it has to offer.

Austin Clutts earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno. He currently serves as Assistant Vice President at Metcalf Builders, where he works across departments to help drive company initiatives, improve operational excellence, strengthen organizational culture, and develop the next generation of leaders. Outside of work, Austin is an avid sports fan, golfer, and enjoys spending time with his wife, Tayler, and their dog.

A proud two-time University of Nevada alum, Leila Rakban is passionate about giving back to the community she’s proud to call home. Over the past 15 years, she’s built her career across education, healthcare, and the nonprofit sector—working closely with students, families, and communities, including five years as a classroom teacher. Today, she brings that passion for community impact to her role in Community Relations at NV Energy.

As a member of the YLC, Leila loves building connections, engaging new supporters, and creating opportunities for the community to invest in the next generation. She believes every kid deserves the chance to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential.

When she’s not volunteering, you’ll find her traveling, making pottery, trying new local restaurants, or exploring with her dog, Opal.

Meet your 2026 YLC!

Chris McCarthy is a Senior Manager with Eide Bailly Advisory in Reno, where he provides audit and accounting services to a wide range of clients. A Reno native, Chris and his wife are raising their four children in the community he has always called home. He enjoys giving back through organizations like the Boys & Girls Club and is passionate about supporting local youth. Outside of work, he spends much of his time coaching youth sports and making memories with his family while camping and enjoying the outdoors.

Carlan is a CPA at Sorren who enjoys helping business owners and individuals navigate complex tax matters while building lasting relationships through proactive planning and advice.
A Reno native, Carlan is passionate about supporting the local community through the YLC. He values opportunities to give back and help make Northern Nevada an even better place to live and work.
Outside the office, Carlan enjoys running, golfing, and proving that CPAs do, in fact, have personalities.

Originally from Arizona and in Reno after playing soccer at UNR, Mackenzie Robinson is a local attorney at Dickinson Wright and passionate advocate for the Boys and Girls Club. Growing up, Mackenzie was a “club kid” and later a “Leader-in-Training” at the Boys and Girls Club. As an adult, Mackenzie is so excited to be a part of an organization that was instrumental to her childhood and hopes to be a part of gifting that experience for club kids here in Reno.

Blake Smith Jr is a Partner at S3 Development Company, LLC. As third-generation Nevadan, he has spent his career building residential and commercial projects in our community. Blake is a graduate of Santa Clara University and also serves part-time in the U.S. Army Reserve as an Intelligence Officer. Outside of work, you can find him hunting, fishing, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his friends and family.
