As many of you know, our new board and I took on the responsibility of Art Paws in 2022. This year, we faced significant challenges, including rising costs and changing regulations at our events location. The decision to pause this year's event stems from our commitment to ensuring Art Paws remains focused on our four-legged community, both in terms of participation and giving back.
The rising costs and the challenges of hosting the event during the hottest month in Reno have made it increasingly difficult to provide the safe, animal-friendly experience we prioritize. Access to water is essential for the well-being of our furry participants, and without it, we cannot execute the event as intended.
We are exploring the option of rescheduling Art Paws to cooler months, ensuring we uphold the spirit of community and care for our pets. We appreciate your understanding and continued support during this time as we work towards a more sustainable future for Art Paws.
