Project Bear Hugs Our mission to reduce the physical & mental impacts of disasters on the most vulnerable populations.

Project Bear Hugs™ was born in early 2013 after watching so many tragedies and disasters affect our country. So many children affected, so many hurt and alone, I wanted to do something. After the May, 2013 Oklahoma tornadoes I was able to collect over 2,800 stuffed animals for the children affected. It was overwhelming, and I received donations from as far away as Florida! I was lucky enough to ge

t to deliver them directly to the victims, and their reactions were inspiring. I have now created Project Bear Hugs™ to respond to as many events as I can, and help as many children as possible. I would love for you to help me on my mission to make sure no kids go to sleep afraid.

Project Bear Hugs is actively monitoring the devastating tornado outbreaks impacting communities across the country.

Our hearts are with every individual and family affected by these storms. We are currently gathering information, assessing needs, and coordinating response efforts. As we receive verified updates from impacted areas, we will share ways the community can help and what resources are most urgently needed.
