Do you have anyone in your life looking for a career in health? We are sponsoring a special cohort of Community Health Workers in Reno, Nevada.

8 Live sessions make this a unique format for the class and gives more time for practice and support. This class usually costs $700 to $1,000 dollars per student but this session will be pay what you can. Registration in the comments.

“Community Health Workers are what I call the ‘then what’ professionals,” said Jay Kolbet-Clausell, program instructor. “When a doctor tells a patient they need to eat healthier or manage stress and it isn’t happening, the CHW steps in to provide practical, hands-on support. In my classroom, students practice patient navigation, health coaching and community resource mapping,,, the exact skills they’ll need to bridge the gap between a diagnosis and living well.”

Community Health Workers are in high demand across Nevada. Their role is recognized and supported by Medicaid, Medicare, and other agencies, making this training a strong starting point for a healthcare career with room to grow.
