Meet Nichole, our 2026–2027 VP of Fund Development! ❤️

For Nichole, Junior League has been a place to build meaningful friendships, grow as a leader, and make a difference in her community.

JLR has challenged her to step outside her comfort zone while surrounding her with incredible women who continue to inspire her. It’s that combination of personal growth, connection, and community impact that makes the League so meaningful to her.

When it’s time to recharge, Nichole is happiest spending quality time with her family, camping in their RV, cooking something delicious, or settling in with a nice glass of wine and a little Bravo TV. 🏕️🍷📺

We’re excited to have Nichole serving as our VP of Fund Development and helping create the support that makes JLR’s work in our community possible.

Meet Whitney, our 2026–2027 Nominating Director! ❤️

For Whitney, Junior League has brought something that extends far beyond service: some of the greatest friendships of her life.

These are the women who have been beside her through her deepest struggles and her greatest joys. That kind of friendship and support is what makes the connections built through JLR so special.

And when Whitney needs to recharge? You’ll find her line dancing! 🤠💃 A little music, a little movement, and she’s ready to go.

For Shenea, Junior League has brought a community of women who challenge her, support her, and encourage her to grow in ways she never expected.

That sense of connection and growth is at the heart of what JLR is all about: women learning from one another, showing up for each other, and using their collective strengths to make an impact in our community.

Find The Good Day is a celebration of the good within ourselves, the people around us and the communities we call home. For JLR, that means creating opportunities to serve, lead, connect and enjoy the community we work so hard to strengthen.

Meet Barb, our 2026–2027 Sustainer Director! ❤️

Barb has been part of the Junior League of Reno since 1999, and over the years, the League has become an important part of both her personal and professional life.

Through JLR, she’s had the opportunity to make an impact in our community, gain invaluable training she’s carried into all aspects of her life, and build friendships and relationships she’ll always treasure.

When it’s time to recharge, Barb loves a good weekend road trip or getaway. Napa, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, or exploring rural Nevada are all on her list of favorite escapes. 🚗✨

We’re incredibly fortunate to have Barb’s years of experience, connection, and commitment represented on our 2026–2027 Leadership Team as Sustainer Director.
