The Sierra Exotic Animal Park was originally known as Sierra Safari Zoo, which was started by 3 men, the late Dale McDaniel, the late Jimmie Martin, and the late Dave Dawson. are team's most prized ambassadors. The Park is almost entirely staffed by volunteers, and today there are approximately five people who perform the day-to-day care and feeding of the many animals that reside at the Park. The Park volunteers are people who have a great passion for animals, and the Park provides people an opportunity to work with a diverse group of amazing species of animals. Please visit our website to complete a volunteer application and see the Animal Park management regarding volunteer opportunities at the park. Donations gratefully accepted year round of meat, produce, and other foods to feed our animals (please no freezer-burned meat). We gladly accept cash donations at any time to support our goals to expand and improve the Animal Park experience. For a wish list of needed items please see our web page www.sierraexoticanimalpark.org. Many thanks in advance for any donations to help us with animal feeding and to continue updating infrastructure to improve the animals' lives and visitor experiences.
